GENERAL STUDIO RELATED FAQ'S
Can I try it out without signing up first?
Yes. We have ways for you to try it out on your first visit. Since the instructors at Starworld have over 30 years of experience training students, they want to make sure you have the opportunity to become your best and gain the benefits you want. Usually after a period of 6 months, a student begins to gain the talent, skill, confidence, and discipline to fully understand the meaning of being a Martial Artist. That’s why Starworld also offers its students a 6 or 12 months membership. The ultimate decision is up to each individual student.
Do you have professional Instructors?
Here at Starworld Academy our instructors are board certified to teach Martial Arts!
Usually, the best teacher has a combination of knowledge and experience. Instructor training courses are necessary to become accredited to teach. The instructor learns how to implement what he or she has learned and combines it with experience gathered over time to teach each person as an individual. Also, the best Black Belt instructors have certifications that are updated yearly by a governing board.
How many days a week can a student attend classes?
It typically depends on the age of the student. We will sit down with you and find a schedule that fits well for you. Starworld recommends that a student attends class twice a week to quickly build confidence, physical strength, stamina, and improved focus and concentration.
Don't all Martial Arts schools teach character development along with the talent and skill learned through Martial Arts?
To some degree, yes, because one does have to develop confidence and responsibility to apply Martial Arts skills correctly, but often, the instructors just scratch the surface of such, without going deep into the subject.
Traditional schools however have additional practices and exercises available to always remind the student that character building is crucial to learning and practicing their specific Martial Art.
