Yang Style Tai-Chi

Ages: 14+

A Chinese martial art form, with roots stretching back to the 12th century. Tai Chi is practiced for both its defensive philosophy and for its health benefits. Studies show that Tai Chi helps to:

This low impact practice features gentle motions that flow one into the next.

ki gong

Ki Gong

Ages: 14+

Ki Gong translates as “Energy Work” and is the study of your body’s energy and how to manage/maintain it for better health.

At Starworld Academy of Tang Soo Do we practice and teach a health-oriented Ki Gong that concentrates on balancing the body’s flow of energy to improve and maintain health in the body’s different systems. Such as digestive, circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, and cognitive, as well as the emotional and stress reduction aspects of balance. Our Ki Gong training system was passed down to us by the founder of WTSDA, Grand Master Jae C. Shin.
